Implementation Structure

Establishment of system for evidence-based medical technology assessment

• Fortification of comparative effect research based on the association of health technology assessment research and health and medical service data to seek the optimal use of medical technologies
• Fortification of research on the economic validity analysis of the health and medical technology and health and medical service policy for efficient distribution of health and medical service resources
• Fortification of system for performance management and support for clinical research infrastructure in order to enhance the utilization of policy evidences of the results of public interest clinical research

Lead the policy support for future health and medical services

• Expansion of the virtuous cycle system as New Health Technology Assessment through the expansion of the range of allowance for restrictive health technology for safe and effective promising health technologies
• Support policy grounds for fortification of functions of the delivery system for health and medical services for the purposes of efficient distribution of limited medical resources, improvement of accessibility to medical treatments and provision of high quality health and medical services
• Make contributions towards securing the equality and quality enhancement of medical services through development and proposal for smart health policies to cope with the rapid changes in the health and medical service environment
• Set and plan the direction for the expansion and sustaining of public interest clinical R&D project to solve problems in health and medical services

• Establishment of procedural means of decision making that consider a diverse range of values other than the literary evidences that the interested parties can agree on at the time of the New Health Technology Assessment
